The Futen Dojo was founded by head instructor, Michael Coleman, in 1988. The 1338 East Brady Street location has been open and holding classes every week since 1990. - Few schools in the area can claim such a consistent commitment to both its students and the surrounding community as a whole. Ultimately, part of self defense is making our neighborhoods better places to live.
